Product Designer + Photographer
A multidisciplinary creative crafting intuitive, human-centered products.
With a decade of experience working at companies like Street Context, Soapbox, and BioRender, Matthew has developed a deep understanding of how thoughtful design can turn complex challenges into simple, intuitive solutions. Grounded in human-centred design, his ability to obsess over details without losing sight of the bigger picture is what sets him apart.
Matthew believes the best products are equal parts function and beauty. His goal is to create experiences that feel effortless, yet memorable.
Beyond product design, Matthew spent years exploring Europe and Asia. From the cobblestones of Rome to the neon crosswalks of Tokyo to the riverside streets of Hoi An, capturing cultures, architecture, and everyday moments through his lens. That journey reshaped his creative perspective, influencing both his photography and design practice.
Now back in Toronto, Matthew continues to build products at BioRender while pursuing photography projects ranging from weddings and lifestyle to fashion and brand campaigns. His work has been commissioned by Lululemon, Maison Bedard, Overwerk, Amanda Maria Fashion, Gelbsy, and many more. Known for being versatile, detail-oriented, and collaborative, Matthew thrives in projects that challenge him to push boundaries and find fresh solutions.
When he’s not designing or shooting, you’ll likely find him running to a podcast, experimenting in Lightroom, or enjoying coffee shops and catching up with friends over a craft beer.
